Wednesday Snow White

Snow White by Annie Leibovitz – From the Disney Dream Portrait-series

I read a rumour the other day that a new film version of the classic Snow White is in the making. Researching a bit on it, it seems that the story in this film will be darker, not as Disney – Which sounds like music to my ears! Rupert Sanders is directing the film of the title, Snow White and the Huntsman. (Uh and the rumour goes that Johnny Depp is up for the role as the Huntsman!)

Wednesday Drop your guns

So. Yeah. Went to the cinema last night. Technically, I was dragged to the cinema, group pressure and all that. I think The Expendables was the last movie I wanted to watch, no joke. But I was lured with candy.

And I was surprised! (No, this is not gonna be a post where I tell you that this film is now one of my favourites ever, or that – in general – it’s a great movie) – It was highly entertaining. I even ended up wanting Terry Crews massive gun (A MPS AA-12 Sledgehammers. Yes I googled it. So cool). Anyway, I do recommend this film as pure stupid entertainment, if you don’t mind heaps of violence, explosions, fights.. But then again – Then  you probably wouldn’t even consider it.

But hey. It has Jason Statham, always a plus

Ps. Terry Crew – You might have destroyed your chances of doing semi-serious roles after you did the Vanessa Carlton song on White Chicks :) (look here)

Thursday Back to living

Photobucket

And back to my beloved blog. Yesterday a week’s worth of work climaxed, and I handed in my exam paper. Maybe it was sort of an anti-climax, but still, it’s over with! I spent most of the day with K looking at stores and drinking coffee.
Actually I had won two tickets for the pre-premiere of ‘Kvinden der drømte om en mand‘ (Danish; The Woman who dreamt about a man), and I dragged K with me. It’s a really beautiful film (with photographs done by my favourite photographer, Signe Vilstrup) about a love obsession. I’m still not exactly sure if I think it’s a good movie (I take my time, to make up my mind :)) but I think it’s worth watching – if anything for the beautiful pictures.

In a wee while I’m off to meet P to help her out with a review she’s writing for the university magazine. I’ll be playing press photographer for the day, and it’ll be fun.

After I have plans of going to get some yarn and stuff for some diy-projects.
It’s so nice to be free – at last!
