Friday Water
I used to always do macro photography of everything and anything I could find. Flowers, leaves, jewellery, perfume, anything. I’m not sure why I stopped. Because I love it, I love being able to see how tiny details in things, random every-day things, could be magical when blown up..
Making landscapes, making images out of songs and poetry.
Yesterday I shot some photos of a water bottle taking up space in our window sill.

Remember to drink your water! ;)
Monday A fresh start

When I woke up this morning the windows were filled with dew and tiny droplets of gorgeousness. The sunlight is absolutely gorgeous on this side of the flat in the morning, and today was no exception.
But for once I didn’t have to wake up by sunlight prickling on my eyelids – We finally got curtains up in the bedroom. We got the curtains from home, and the light they give – warm, soft goldenness – makes me feel like I’m home. For once.
I have to keep myself busy this week. I have so much to do, and a lot of it takes a lot of time. Finding a subject for my BA is of course first priority, as I have to hand in my choice in a week. (oh fright!)
Monday When the rain falls..

I spent my weekend in Copenhagen celebrating the cutest little baby, sharing special moments with special people, drowning in rain and having conversations in the dark. Saturday we were celebrating Nicoline’s baby boys name. We were out for a walk in Dyrehaven, in Copenhagen, and when the rain was splashing down all of a sudden, we sought shelter underneath a big beech. After enjoying the cake and coffee we’d brought, Nicoline held a very special speech for her son. Sitting underneath the huge tree, all dry, with the rain pouring outside was a very special experience, and it’s something that will never be forgotten. Even if I’d taken any photographs I’d never have been able to capture the atmosphere and the emotional buzz there was underneath that tree, but I tried to draw it. It’s probably not quite done, but you get the idea.
Today we’re getting further with the flat – We’re getting a new bed (don’t underestimate sleeping on an ait mattress for 3-4 weeks!) and a new desk for me, since the old one (technically a dining table, and an ugly one at that) was too big for the bedroom. Uh, and we get proper internet today as well. So everything seems to be falling into place, finally.
Tuesday Fantastic Nights

Stumbled across these gorgeous photos by Ditte Isager earlier. Thought I’d share her amazingness.
She’s allowed to come a make magic in my world.
