Tuesday Good Life

Whoop! I’m back from a short visit at home (for my mum’s birthday) and a trip to Berlin with Uni – Had the best time. And coming back to Denmark in springtime (it’s been sunshine since I got home) it couldn’t be any better! I’ve an easy week at uni, so I’m trying to get some stuff done that I usually don’t have time nor energy to do, such as replanting my plants (woo..hoo?), cleaning computers, looking for specific litterature, making (creative) plans and so forth.
I might have one or two posts with updates from Berlin, but otherwise we’re back to normal.
Enjoy spring, people!

Ps. There’s nothing like waking in the morning with sunshine breaking through the tanned curtains, and your mind bursting with plans and ideas, and then taking your time to make a really nice breakfast, just for you. <3
Wednesday Work-out of the year

Wow. Blogging and I aren’t the best of friends lately. Which is sad. But still, with everything else that has been going on, it’s been nice to not have to think of the blog for a while. I don’t feel like bothering people with small updates on how busy I am with university :) I just started the new semester a few weeks ago, and I’m already busy with studying, plans, social life. And beginning a new work-out plan. Last night I met with a pro trainer to work out a schedule for my training (which I’m so happy that I did). And since I didn’t think, I went to the gym two days in a row, and today I’m just knackered, absolutely wrecked. Awesome new body, here I come – I hope, otherwise the pain is totally not worth it, OUCH. (I’m not writing this because I want everybody to know (whoops), but rather I hope I’ll stay on track with having published my goals). S and I are going back to the gym tonight (hafta go, otherwise I break the schedule) and just the thought of it, makes me die a little inside.
Anyway. This week has so far been really good and productive, and more goodness is coming up. The snow is back as well, sadly. But I have some projects to keep me focused, homework that needs to be done, social calls for most of the weekend. It’ll be a good end of the week.
Monday Best Friends
This friday I had made plans with T & P for the night. The date called for red wine and dinner, nothing fancy.
Sipping the first glass of red wine T had to “get his phone out of P’s bag”, but found a white envelope instead: “Oh P, what on earth is this? It says “Kira” on it, what could it be” (read with theatrical, ironic voice). Instantly, true to tradition, I go bright red and open the envelope. Inside I find 2 really ridiculous (sorry but they are!:)) photos of the two of them, 3 cinema tickets for Iñárritus Biutiful, and a menu for a cafe. My (early) birthday present! So I spent the night in the best company.
The film was incredibly sad, strong, moving and biutiful. The food at the cafe (Rohdes on Trøjborg) (crepe with smoked salmon with a big salad and a huge beer) was delicious, even though the staff was a bit lost.
I love these two to bits. It was the best present.

For the Danes only: Jeg besluttede mig også lige for at vise den tegning T lavede til mig. Den er fantastisk!

Tuesday This morning..

It’s yet another morning beautified by the beaming autumn-sun. It’s amazing – Especially since my desk is turned towards the garden, and during the day the sun lights up this side of the house.
As I was hit by a sudden urge to sleep yesterday (taking a break after my lecture with Skins and knitting) I got close to nothing done. Merely bits and pieces, but it’s okay. I still feel at easy – which is something new this fall!
Today I plan to enjoy the sun, finish up on some reading (library books that need to be returned) and see the doctor about my headaches. Seems manageable, no?
Photos: 1) The sunlight in the windowsill by my desk, 2) As I promised Nadia, a photo of the scarf that I’m knitting, 3) tiny chillies on the plant I got from my mum a while back, 4) The small bronze leaf for my rings by the kitchen sink…
Wednesday Away from the world
I whine a lot these days. (Warning: If you’re not in for a whine-treat, then read another blog for today!)
But only because I find life without TV, Internet and properly working computers awkward. On top of that it feels like the flat is back to day 1, since we got the new bed (which is awesome) a new desk and a bookshelf and we had to move all the crap from the bedroom into the livingroom (which is now barely livable). And so when I’m home every day, it gets tiring. Just to top it off, I finally had a date (brunch with Á) tomorrow, but this I have to cancel as the Internet technician is coming.
Besides that, it’s been raining for as long as I can remember! (And if you know me, you know that I don’t have a long memory span). I need company. Company, a tidy flat, Internet and colours. I don’t feel like I ask for much.
Source of photo unknown. But it’s pretty.
Monday Curls and curls

Photos of the flowers of my herb garden.
The days are filled with sun now, and I spent yesterday soaking myself in it, talking to K, then going to the gym. Good times. I have so many small projects to get done, started and finished. But the sun is catching my attention..
Among other things I have to; do new studded converse since the old ones are falling apart, sold some of my clothes, thrown some of it out, start packing, different creative projects.. Enough to do.
I finally found my pol filter yesterday (been gone for over a year) and now I’m all set for whatever shoots the summer might bring.
Thursday When everything is happening

WE GOT THE APARTMENT! I’m still almost too afraid to believe it. I got the call yesterday afternoon in the bus, on my way to the gym. We got the apartment – IF we could pay the deposit by monday. So this morning has purely been used for raising money different places, and now everything is in place. I can’t wait for august when we can actually move in!
Tomorrow I’m leaving for Berlin with my dad – can’t wait – which means that blogging won’t be a thing the next few days. And when I get back, I have an exam a few days later, so I’ll hopefully be able to focus on studying for that.
Now I just can’t help but hope for some photography jobs this summer. Would really come in handy!
Monday Sun & Family
I hope all had a great Christmas. I’m still at home, and so far it has been an impossible task to spend time by the computer – there’s just too much going on! My sister and her husband and their two boys have been here, and the boys are everywhere! They’re the cutest things. Photos later? Boyfriend was here for xmas too – he left to go to the flat yesterday to go to work for a few days.
Christmas has been great so far – I got so many great presents (including a ton of books, novels, photography ones, Freud etc, a cd, clothes, card reader, two pairs of boots, and and and) and the time with the family is so lovely. The snow is slowly disappearing which leaves the roads icy and impossible to walk and drive on. But today the sun is shining with long, warm rays that melt the rest of the tiny splotches of snow.
Today I’m taking a afternoon walk with N and her new baby boy, and tomorrow I’ll hopefully get to see P as well.
