Wednesday Work-out of the year

Wow. Blogging and I aren’t the best of friends lately. Which is sad. But still, with everything else that has been going on, it’s been nice to not have to think of the blog for a while. I don’t feel like bothering people with small updates on how busy I am with university :) I just started the new semester a few weeks ago, and I’m already busy with studying, plans, social life. And beginning a new work-out plan. Last night I met with a pro trainer to work out a schedule for my training (which I’m so happy that I did). And since I didn’t think, I went to the gym two days in a row, and today I’m just knackered, absolutely wrecked. Awesome new body, here I come – I hope, otherwise the pain is totally not worth it, OUCH. (I’m not writing this because I want everybody to know (whoops), but rather I hope I’ll stay on track with having published my goals). S and I are going back to the gym tonight (hafta go, otherwise I break the schedule) and just the thought of it, makes me die a little inside.
Anyway. This week has so far been really good and productive, and more goodness is coming up. The snow is back as well, sadly. But I have some projects to keep me focused, homework that needs to be done, social calls for most of the weekend. It’ll be a good end of the week.
Sunday Christmas Nightmare

Some of the photos they’ve taking on their journey – yes, I’d call it a journey! – to go home for Christmas
This weekend has been filled with something else than shopping, cooking and preparing for the big Christmas with the big family.. Worrying about the biggest part of the big family being able to even come and celebrate Christmas with us! My sister, as you may know, lives with her husband and children in Northern Ireland, and – if you live in a cave and don’t know – the UK has been overflooded with snow. THey were supposed to arrive today, but one day of travelling turned into 3 days, but now it’s almost certain that they’re coming. Thankgod. Wouldn’t be fun knowing how many people would get sad over the Christmas because of their absence – me included of course.
Now – I’m just begging for everything to go well!
On to backing cookies <3
Monday Loving it!

I know it’s on every single (Danish) blog, but whatevs. There’s still snow everywhere, even though it hadn’t snowed for days. Yesterday though, it snowed the entire day, and everything from branches and leaves on the trees to roof windows were covered. So I took a BA-break and went for a walk in the forest near by with S (and my camera). My image of a winter wonderland!

Even though I don’t want to think about it, we’re on the last week of the BA and I’m spending all days at the library trying to catch up. I’ve started getting stressful dreams every morning just before I wake up and my headaches from this semester are back.
I can’t wait until I’m done, and I put my life back on PLAY.
Tuesday Inside Being Warm

I feel like I don’t do anything but clean and study. Not the most fun combination!
At least today it’s been snowing like mad, and since I didn’t have to go outside it’s been great! Very cosy and pretty. And always a good reason to light up candles and try to make the best of studying.
My weekend was not interesting – Apart when S finished a 5km run in a great time, without even having practised for that long! Makes me a very proud girlfriend. Oh and when we watched the new Harry Potter. Recommendable!
Well. I better get back to studying for thursday (will be practically impossible when Little Miss Something arrives!) and listening to Amy Winehouse . (Oh and checking out the goodies that my dad sent up – Weltkunst-mags, news paper clippings and other good stuff!)
Saturday Over the Rooftops
There’s nothing better to wake up early on a saturday morning and realised it’s grey because it’s snowing <3

Wednesday In the Cold
Photo from Reykjavík from Easters.
I miss Iceland. Denmark is so cold at the moment, and if I have to deal with this cold, I might as well be in Iceland where there’s actually a chance of snow.
I’m still struggling (yes, it has officially turned into a struggle) with knitting my scarf. It just never gets long enough! But I desperately need it for heat and for awesomeness.
My BA project is still haunting me – will be until 14th of Dec – I’m starting to panik a bit, I’ve only written 1½ page …..
Which is why I keep skipping classes this week, so that I can get something done on it, it’s horrible!
But this morning it’s lovely and foggy outside, probably cold – I’ll find out soon.
Tuesday Snow Patrol

Today the snow storm hit Denmark. I personally love how a snow storm hasn’t necessarily anything to do with a storm, it just snows a lot. I never actually believed in this alleged snow storm because I live in the exact part of the country where it never really snows. I live in the middle, and it sucks. So of course I had to go outside to enjoy it.
(also the fact that I now have stuff that I need to get done, e.g. uni readings, makes me procrastinate into eternity.) (Yes. Even though I’m looking foreward to starting) (and I have a secret – not so secret anymore – hope that I will snow in during the night, and therefore cannot go to class).
Right now the grave yard and the snow is covered in this orangy glow, and it’s still snowing quietly.
Private photos. 1. & 2. are experimental shots from my office early in the day, 3. is from my walk to the grave yard and 4. is the cosiness of my office from outside.
Friday Come Snow
Dear Sky,
I haven’t seen you for a while, there has been so many clouds between us. But no good come of these clouds, if they would at least be so kind and polite as to bring snow.
Snow like in these photographs. Do you remember, Sky? That was such a beautiful day. And you looked lovely.
Hope to see you soon,
love, Kira
Ps. Photos from they day of my grandmother’s birthday, Boyfriend and I went to Odense to celebrate her. It’s the train ride.
